Thanks.
Stan
I pm you yesterday I still am having no luck ordering your book????
Tonight I went to the pool hall and we finished in the FREE handicapped 9 Ball pool tournament. I came in fourth and it earned me $20. Afterwards one of our guys had some DVD's of DCC pool matches that we were watching and the question came up about Lee Brett. I told them that Lee Brett had a method of shooting that would allow a player to make difficult shots that they normally wouldn't be able to make. I showed just one of the things in Lee Brett's book to two different people of different skill levels.
Not to make a short story long, it was the miniscule portion of Lee's book that details the difference between the number of contact points between a snooker style player and a pool player. It's 4/2 if you haven't already gotten the book. On difficult straight in shots, the additional contact points make it so much easier to pot the balls, it is a joke.
The two people I showed it to were seriously impressed and so was I.
I'm happy to say that Lee's encouragement to try the 4 contact points has made better players out of the three of us. Now, all I have to do is win some events.
Seriously, buy the book, if you want STRONG fundamentals or to hear something that is UNIQUE.
Congratulations Coach Brett. You've written a great book.

Argh I can't wait for mine to arrive!!! Your review puts my patience on a bigger fire than it was already...
I ordered my copy as soon as the book was launched on 11.11. I live in Europe, and I had 3 shipping options: the cheapest one was like 4 usd, but the book was arriving just before Christmas, the 2nd option was 11 usd and this is the one I chose - the book is supposed to arrive before mid December. I checked the tracking and apparently now it is not even en route to destination...On 18.11 the status was PROCESSING COMPLETED AT ORIGIN and since then nothing happened...in almost 2 weeks the book did not even leave the US...
So to make a long story short (now it's too late though) if you live in Europe and want your book soon order it with the most expensive shipping option, otherwise you will be in for a long wait...
Yesterday I tried Lee's V grip and I played excellent, it's a really helpful technique!!!
Looking forward to the book...

The four contact points which are utilized by snooker players more so than pool players, that Lee barely mentions in his book turned out to be one of those moments of serendipity for me. It might not be the same for others. I occasionally have trouble potting a really critical shot where I am shooting at a half of a pocket or smaller.
Are you talking about cue contact points ? Bridge hand, stroke hand, chin, chest contact ? BTW, I changed to a snooker stance a few months ago. Big improvement for me.
Just a bit of a warning for those of you who are interested in ordering Coach Lee's book. Lee's strong suit is not typing. The book also is not as well organized as I would like to see a book with this much valuable information. The spacing of the information is fine but the organization is sometimes difficult to easily find what you are looking for.
You may be able to find some of Coach Lee's information in other books, other videos but he has his own style of communicating and if you can get past that Liverpool rapid-fire talk that somehow seems to permeate the book, you should enjoy the content especially if you find some areas that need addressing in your own game.
Serendipity is finding something fortunate by accident.

Lee nonchalantly mentions that the four contact points may not be for everyone but you should give it a chance because it can't hurt. I've read about the 4 contact points in other online information about snooker style of playing but I never thought it would be "that relative" to pool. I could not have been more wrong. Last night after celebrating a fourth place finish in the handicapped nine ball tournament at Buffalo Blliards in Metairie, LA, by tossing back a few brewskies with some pool pals, I somehow got to talking about Lee's book and even though I haven't finished reading the book, I couldn't wait to share my newly found method of making the tough shot. I know I will need to practice this 4 contact method of cueing more, but I GUARANTEE that I will be more confident and more consistent in "CINCHING" tough shots like this. When I put these four contact points in place, I feel like I am ROCK SOLID. I've never felt that way in my life. The downside, is I don't seem to be able to maintain the 4 contact points when I have a long power shot and am drawing the cue ball.
Anyway, if I can find a little piece of magic in Lee's book, that helps MY GAME, I have to believe that others will be able to find some things that will help their game.
Personally speaking, I think Lee Brett's fundamentals are EXCELLENT. I hope to refine my fundamentals in the months to come by following Coach Lee's guide to cueing excellence.
As for the errors, i have fixed a lot, you have a limited edition version. As for the way i talk, well i blame my parents  and i wanted a personal feel with what i have wrote.
I've thought about mentioning this several times, and hesitate to do so now, but as it's been raised already, your written communication skills could do with a bit of spit and polish. How information is presented is very important, sadly.
And don't do an audio book whatever you do, la.![]()
my English is not proper English its called scouse la..
I Have edited a lot since the 1st few copies. I do feel bad about this, and can only apologize, but i hope the info helps people, and they understand me.
