Tiger Amateur Tour is Great

Hey Brent, thanks for doing a great job running an outstanding tournament. Keep up the good work and good luck with future tournies.

Curious!

Brent

Have you figured out how you would make the spot? I like the format and Im planning on attending this even because I absolutely love Big Tymes, but would like to know how the wire will work. If your still working that out cool. Let us know when you know. For all of you that havent attended Brents tour, you are missing the boat big tyme!! First class, well ran plenty of action, everything you want at a tournament. See you guys there.

inquiring minds want to know, what is the handicap?

Handicapped by games. Thats all I can give you. You will be ranked in the middle of the pack. For instance if you played Jamie Baraks,David G you would get a spot of like 10/7 or 9/6.......If you played David Parker you would get 10/9 or 9/8. If you played someone under you, you would give them 9/8, 9/7 and so on. It will work better for all, lets everyone play and gives everyone a chance to cash.

We run this to be fair to all and give everyone a chance, its not a money making venture by no means, I went in the hole on 7 of the 12 events last year, but I could care less, I do it because i like to and the people have no tours/tournies to play.

This Tiger Tour will never play favorites to any players, as much as people may want to think that from time to time.

If this system does not work out we will change it back. If it does work, great. We will be having the amateur Events like we had also thruout the year from time to time. Along with some other bigger open tournies we are working on.

Hope to see you soon again.

Now Fcee on the other hand above you, he would get something like 10/6 from the top guys, or like 10/8 or 9/7 from Parker, and a game 9/8 from pooljunkie

This sounds great. For once a handicapped event. Early Christmas from JJ.

I'm sure I will get a ton of weight from everyone...

What's going to be fun to watch is all of the players my speed and below playing with confidence that they might really be able to actually snap something off.

How much weight do I get from Mikey?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All!!!

Sweet

Thats what I wanted to know. I hope to make several events this year. This is fastly becoming my favorite stop tour. Brent keep up the great work on what you doing for amateur pool. Us working stiffs just like to smell the cash every once in a while. See you guys there.

Thanks for including this info. I'd make the drive from Dallas for this. Unfortunately I'm in Burbank that week, but I can make the Jan 22nd event.

PS, would it kill ya to put the State/City in the subject line?

Noone can play the Second Chance Event that does not play the main event.

What will the race be for two equal players, also will the race change in the one lost side?

The one loss side races will be the same as the winners side, to whatever handicap the chart says.
Players of even handicap will race to 9-10 for the most part.
The real low end players probaly go to 7.

but like I said most all to 9-10 on even handicaps.

This is a trial event, lol. But I still expect the normal 80 players to attend, we shall see how it goes.

p.s. -- All new players, that I dont get a good line on will not be racing to a low number, noones going to be sneaking in, that I promise.

Is the field limited or do we need to pre pay to hold our spots.

128 max. doubt we get that

somehow i disagree JJ. you may be somewhat suprised, finally us ametuers may feel like we have a fightin chance with all these champs. i hear a lot of players wont play becuz the field be so tuff,Texas is one one of the few states who dont hold handicapped touneys. this is a good move Playa

i got 3 ppl who have never even played in your tournaments already sad the wanna play becuz of the handicapped event.neva know
