ARTEMIS vs SUPERSPEED RAILS

ive heard the diamond blacks are a direct replacement for the super speeds and are better. since the rails will not need to be adjusted to accept the diamond blacks, that is what i've decided to go with.

Hey Glen-
Thanks for taking the time to respond...this is a 2001 Greenbriar home table. Do not know if that makes a difference or not...If I had the cash I rather get a new Diamond table but cheap-ass used Brunswick home table will have to do for now!!!
Thanks to all who responded!
Todd

Josh will do you right, he's one of only a few mechanic's I give credit to knowing what he's doing:grin:

Yes, the Diamond black cushions are a K55 profile, same as the newer Superspeed cushions.

save the old ones?

Are the old cushions damaged/destroyed in removal when new ones are installed?

(Example older GCII-cushion 'upgrade' to Artemis intercontinental #66)

I'm guessing you mess them up in removing them.

it's not that they are damaged during removal it's that to make the correct pocket angle adjustments, you need new rubber, other wise you are stuck adding shims to make the pocket smaller. there are numerous threads here addressing that. there are also numerous threads about the correct way to reduce pocket dimensions, and fix the lack of quality control from brunswick and hack mechanics out there. if you pick one of the guys from this forum to do a table you can rest assured that it will be done right!!!!!!

Another Thanks to Donny for my rails, my gold crown II is the best one I have played on period!!! until my next table!!!!
