From the Blue Book of Pool Cues, that cue appears to be a model 98-10. The manufacturer's suggested retail price in 1998 was $370. The Blue Book gives used cue values (in 2005) of $260 for 98% condition, $200 for 90% condition, and $125 for 70% condition.

Secondary market prices today can vary considerably from what is shown in the 2005 Blue Book.

Not really. You have to just do whatever research you can -- such as your question here or searching the net for any examples of that cue or other reasonably similar Helmstetter cues sold in recent years. Then settle on a price you think is fair and post it for sale. If it doesn't sell at your original price in whatever time period you want to wait, then reduce the price and keep trying.

Or, you could put it up for auction on eBay or elsewhere.
