Schon Cue Id Gallery

I meant I was not sure where you put it in your forum. It is one of the first cues produced when Schon formed. Bob Runde could not remember if it was made for someone specifically or not, but it is one of the very first. There is no model number for this cue.

ah,,,,,my mistake Matt, sorry. Your cue will now be memorialized here:

and the R12's are here:

thanks again for sharing

Just a few words about the Schon Gallery,,,,,,,

First, thanks so much to those who have contributed images and information to aid me in this effort so far,,,,,it is greatly appreciated.

And secondly, if you have pics that you wish to share, or don't mind sharing, for the sake of completeness and accuracy of the Gallery, you can post them yourselves in the appropriate forums within the gallery. If you have a model that does not yet have a forum, please let me know either on my site, thru PM here, or in this thread, so we can get a proper forum setup and get the particular model cataloged.

And third,,,,I apologize for not being able to open this Gallery up to everyone, where guests and members alike have complete access to both viewing and posting, but the spammers would kill the site in no time flat. With restrictions relaxed to that degree, spam artist can get into the site, register under a bullshit username and email address, and post 6 spam posts in 4 seconds flat,,,,,,so restrictions are necessary. So if you'd like to contribute, signup is free and unobligated, and if you just plain have no interest in signup it's ok too, I sincerely appreciate any contribution you can make to the effort by the other aforementioned methods.

Thanks everyone,,,,,,I know it was a long post!

Here's mine. It's very similar to an R-6, but the rings are different. Don't know what it is.

Hi Neil,,,,my guess would be an SL4,,,,,,all the details seem appropriate to me, and it would have rounded points, unlike the R6. Also the R6 does not have ring work, yet the SL4 does, and seems to match. And, in this photo:

if you zoom it up a bit you can clearly see 2 veneers on the points, which is also a match.

The woods can vary a bit on Schons from different production runs, as well as wraps,,,,,,I'd have to say the SL4,,,,,,,,nice cue there.
