Just hung up the phone with Jim Pierce and my new cue that was ordered in 2011 is done and shipping today!!!!!!! Jim has been great to deal with as I was very specific as to my design. The only thing he talked me into was the black lizard wrap instead of the brown I wanted (he was right). I had this cue in my head and I could not be more happy to see it done!!!!! My spec's are:
Butt: amboyna burl into Birds eye maple black lizard wrap 4 pt flame cue Solid Ivory Joint (All white is Ivory)
Shaft #1 12.75mm 4.0 Ivory feral Moori 4 tip
Shaft #2 12.27mm 4.0 Ivory feral Kamui tip ( I like thin as this will be my primary shaft)
Butt weight 15.0

Beautiful in its simplicity. I'm also a fan of the brown phenolic.

Thanks, I Just love the brown phenolic that is why we went with the black lizard, as the brown would have been to much and we wanted the colors to pop out. I will post some better pic's tomorrow with my camera. I also wanted to keep it very classic in my design.

Looks awesome!! cant wait to see it in person!!

this pic of the butt sleeve looks like fire! awesome figure!

It blows my mind that the shaft that was cut down to 12.27 weighs 4.0 that is just wild!!!! I can't help but wonder what it would have weighed if it was a full 13.0

You'd probably be the first player to get a hernia while stroking a shot!:smile:I would guess the shaft would be at 4.5 or a bit more if it was a full 13mm.

Sexy and you know it!

Wow! That is a sweet & sharp looking cue. I like it a lot, congrats and enjoy the hell out of it.
Kudos to Jim for an excellent job.

Ed, I also own a lot of cues but, I do not think it is to many ( I have a cue problem...LOL). Your Pierce is very very nice, Jim does great work. It should make Jim happy that the cue this is replacing is a amboyna burl Paul Mottey (Mottey is going in the case for a while). ;)

Thanks all for the kind words:smile: I am just so happy the way this cue looks!! I sat down with a paper and pencil and drew out my design around Sept called Jim and started the process, He was wonderful, if there was the smallest question with my idea he would ask what I wanted. I made some changes along the way added custom Joint protectors (made by Jim and I think they look great!!!!) That is why this cue is dated 2011..... It was a work in progress...
