Well its another thread but fortunately not as bad as the rip off ones I have seen posted. On March 25th member calibration messaged me with interest in a cue and after some PMs back in forth he asked for payment info and wanted to close a deal on the 26th. I gave him my name/address for payment by check on a $600 cue, he replied on the 28th that he was mailing my check out this afternoon and I got his address and packed the cue up for him to have it ready to go. He replies a couple days later asking for a free DVD of Power One Pocket to be included since he did not beat me up too much on the price, I am okay with that and say sure no problem.
I waited around a week and still no check, I message Cal to see if it was on its way and he replied a cue deal fell through and he was trying to pull funds together. That made me a bit unhappy because he said he was mailing it that afternoon on the 28th and never messaged me again stating something happened. So I figured I would give it some time and see if he would make good on our deal and around a week passes and I message him on the April 8th to see if he has sent payment or when he would and I get no reply but Cal was online a couple times so he saw my messages.
I then let him know yesterday via PM how unhappy I was for waiting 2 weeks and how its bad business to not make payment when you say your sending something and also not communicating about the problem. I have had others who have said they were going to purchase something and commit to buying and then back out and frankly I am sick of it so if you do then I am leaving you a negative iTrader as I have done with Cal aka calibration and let people know about it.
Don't waste peoples time and if something comes up then let the person know and communicate letting them know the situation, I am an understanding person and if he told me a day or 2 later that another cue deal fell through and apologized then I would have been disappointed but understanding instead of being strung along for 2 weeks and ignored. I was pissed about waiting for a week before being told he was trying to pull funds together and I was only told that because I had PMed him asking about the payment, if I did not then I doubt he would have messaged me and since then no communication.
I gave a solid 2 weeks for payment and trying to resolve things and you do not handle things by just ignoring them or blowing it off. Other people who were interested will see that the cue is back for sale but I am sure I still lost a real buyer because of them thinking its sold and 2 weeks passing. I apologize to those who wanted to actually purchase the cue. For those out there who do this to good sellers on here, its bad business period.
