I was reading BBC and saw that Mark Williams tweeted that he hates the Crucible. Has anyone been there? What's wrong with it?

As a minor anglophile, I always thought a good vacation would be to watch snooker at the Crucible then watch Phil Taylor throw a nine-darter through a haze of Guinness. Am I wrong then?

I was last there in 1991, not sure what it's like since the refit, going next week so I will let you know.

Actually I would have gone with "Sing Sing Sing". As it happens, back in the dark ages of the Internet when I first needed a username, I was listening to Benny Goodman and as I used to be a drummer... the rest is discussion-board history.
