What is the best or most popular Snooker cue on the market today in the $100 to $200 range? And why?

With the market flooding of Asian imported cues there has been considerable squabble over quality on the other boards. Does this issue of quality craftsmanship exist with the same manufacturers in their production of Snooker equipment?

I think you should check out this one and inquire about O'min cues.
A friend bought a one-piece snooker cue (maple)...and it was machined
better than any other snooker cue I've seen.

If it is a little higher than your price range...I think it will be cheaper
in the long run.
 
Don't know where you are located, but here in the states, snooker cues are a rarity unless you want a piece of junk. Here, we have to buy them online or mail order. I looked into buying a De Roo from Canada, as well as several other well knowns from England that make custom cues but holy mother of cue making, they are expensive, then another $65 US for shipping. I want a decent cue, but the fact there is only one snooker table remotely close to me, I can't justify spending that kind of cash as I don't get to play near as often as I would like due to the long drive.

Thanks you very much PT109, I will have a look at these cues as that is about the price I would be willing to pay, maybe a little more.

These are pretty much the cream of the crop in Handmade snooker cues,,,,,if you require cheaper you may wish to look into Cue Craft and Peradon, as they are more on the "production" end. Also, try and find them available in the US, as shipping from the UK is very expensive. Canada is high, but not as much as UK

Probably made by a bunch of teenagers working in some backstreet sweatshop in Thailand for a bowl of rice per day. Mind, they get the splices even which is more than can be said of any Parris cue i've seen.
