This belonged to Bakersfield Bobby (Bobby Hernandez) until 1976 when Artesia Kenny Dodd bought the cue and has owned it ever since. When Bakersfield Bobby was on the road he had Judd Fuller put a flat spot on the wrap area as shown below. Bobby had a habit of spinning his cue while down on a shot and added the flat spot for a "central location". Funny thing is Kenny Dodd also spins his cue a lot. Mr. Fuller can verify doing this for Bobby Hernandez to the purchaser of this cue. This is a very early Joss cue that was made when Billy Stoud and Danny Janes were still making cues together. It has a 5/16 18 piloted joint. The cue was refinished a while back but the butt cap has never been replaced. I am told that in 1968 & 1969 the Joss cues were not marked but I guarantee you that this is a very early Joss cue. This cue comes with one original shaft. Kenny wants 1200.00 for this old Joss.
