I wish them luck - they'll need it in today's economic climate. Strange pricing structure - £6.39 an hour? Never heard of that before. £3 for an hour's coaching from an ex snooker pro - bargain!

Rileys clubs are pretty much everywhere. They're crap on the whole, but some are good enough, just.

If we're talking bargain pricing, check out these apples - you can play any time before 6pm for £17 ($25) a week. They usually open at 10.30am, so that works out at around $0.50 per hour if you really go for it. Take a friend and half it. Spoil yourself.

If you are thinking of going to this new one in Leeds, you're better off going to the Vegas Bar in nearby Wakefield instead, which is where the big boys play. They have regular money matches too, if you're interested in that side of things.

Oh, and you'll have missed the good weather we've been having by the time you arrive - one week's unbroken sunshine every decade is quite enough for this isle.
