Good Pool Table Cloth for my table???

Simonis 760 or Simonis 860. 760 is a bit faster 860 is a bit slower.

I like 760 on my 8 footer because it makes me work on the delicate end of my stroke (otherwise the CB runs away). But most will take the position that 860 is better because it will be more like those tables yo will find elsewhere. I don't have a problem adding a little power to compensate for the slower cloth. I do have a problem adding delicasy.

Ok.

I like to play on fast table cloth.

There is no point in recommending Simonis if its significantly out of the range of your budget. What is your budget for the cloth, separate from the cost of labor to install it?

About 250$ is no problem.
350-400$ it starts getting out of range.

But all depends on what I get back, in relation to good play conditions.
It is worse to pay a bit expensive, and not be satisfied, when I could put some more money in a good cloth and be more / very happy.

I would also tell you that 860 is MUCH faster than standard home table cloth. 760 is even a bit fast on a 9 footer. So unless you have played on 860 already and know how fast is, then I wouldn't jump to 760 right away, especially for an 8 footer.

The vast majority of tournaments are played on 860 or the equivalent. Most good pool halls have that, so trying it out shouldn't be too hard

I agree with Mantis. I just put some 860 on a 9' GC. It blew me away how fast it was compared to the slow, fuzzy stuff I had on my 8'. 760 on a 7 or 8 foot table would require some serious adjustment.

As part of the last pool revival, I was told Simonis came out 860 to showcase 9-ball on the 9 foot tables.

Thanks for answeer

I see my local billiard seller, recomande this:
Z9 cloth Green about 310$ 8ft table

It resembles the new Simonis 860 cloth for those who have tried it, the difference is that it does not change speed over time.

I recommend this cloth to anyone who wants good competition table and strong durability. Thus the billiard saloons, recreation clubs, nightspots or to those who want the best home.

The fabric has also been used by GB9Balltour and the German billiards league.
