Event Points and Standings

After each monthly event, the stats and player standings will be posted in all billiard rooms that are associated with the bayou country tour. This will also display total amount of monies collected
in each event and current main event purse. It will display current player standings and players points list. Players will receive points as follows:

10 points – registration / tour card
10 points – monthly event attendance
3 points – winner of a match on winners side of monthly tournament bracket
2 points – winner of a match on losers side of monthly tournament event
30 points – placing first in monthly event
20 points – placing second in monthly event
10 points – placing third in monthly event
5 points – placing fourth in monthly event
3 points – placing fifth/sixth place in monthly event
2 points – placing seventh/eighth in monthly event

A player must play the event to receive his/her attendance points. Players can not pay there entry fee and leave tournament. If a player forfeits out of tournament, no event attendance points will be rewarded unless of an emergency approved by the handicap review board.

Event payout structure

$20 Entry Fees will Divided as follows:
(17-24 players) 3 places paid
(25-32 players) 4 places paid
(33-64 players) 8 places paid

Calcutta will be Divided by Player Total:
(17-32 players) 3 places paid
(33-64 players) 4 places paid

Entry Fee Donominations
1st – 29.5 %
2nd – 21.5%
3rd – 15%
4th – 10%
5th / 6th – 7%
7th / 8th – 5%

Sounds like a cool event. Going to try to make this one and some of the monthly events at CueSports. Nick and Jason run a pretty good business over there and you not only get to play a tournament but they have fine college kids running around all over the place :)
 
Going to be some great events! Hopefully this will bring back the great Southern La tournaments that we all know and love! I'll be there!

The owners of CueSports are trying to promote the sport in the south Louisiana area. We are in talks with other bars to move the tournament around other bars in south louisiana. As for now, this tournament will be played every 2nd Saturday of the month at CueSports in Thibodaux, LA
 
Thanks CueSports, I will be there and try to bring a couple players with me. What time does the calcutta start on saturday?

The Calcutta will start at 5pm and tournament will follow immediately. We are going to see how many players show up normally and may adjust start times of events next month based on finish time because we are trying to hold this to one day events.

BayouCountryTour is pleased to announce the addition of 2 more venues added to the tour. Hard Racks and Richochet Billiards of Houma, Louisiana will also be host of upcoming tour events. We are working on a tour schedule and will post as soon as possible. The first event will take place at CueSports in Thibodaux, Louisiana.

Talk to your local bar owners and ask if they would put up $500 to host an event at there location and we would be happy to have the tour a locations throughout Louisiana.
 
We normally have huge calcuttas at our tournaments and it is based on how many players. This tour is being set up to help get pool going again its based on how many players play. The main event should be worth at least 10K or more. Its based on player registration, sponsor fees, shirt sales plus more that we will be offering to the public to help promote pool in our area.

I would like to know the Race structure so I can discuss with a couple of bar owners.
 
Next stop July 14 at HardRacks of Houma! Great turnout for the first event.
