Ok guys, I KNOW this is not the section for selling cues, the ONLY reason I placed it in here is because #1, it's gonna take a competent cue repair man to fix the cue and #2, I would ultimately like to trade for some cue supplies and/or tools, if not a trade, sell it outright and turn around and buy the tools and supplies I need. I am wanting to trade for a linen press and 1 or 2 rolls of linen OR sell outright for $225.00 SHIPPED(US) or $250.00 SHIPPED(Canada).
I have a brand new, un-used Predator 3K5 that had the rings on the butt section of the handle popped through the finish. The forearm is in perfect shape, it was just the rings on the butt section. I am by far not experienced enough to fix the cue and hate to mess it up trying to do so.
I have a good friend of mine (competent repair guy) that said he could repair the cue but he has taken FOREVER, so I went and got the cue back. So far, the ONLY thing he has done is take the wrap off the cue, sand the butt section of the handle, and put about 13-15 coats of CA on it (and all that took him 8 months,lol). I have attached 5 pics of the cue, 1of the forearm to show it is in perfect shape, 1 of the wrap area just to show it needs a wrap, and 3 of the butt section of the handle to show the finish that is on it and what needs to be done to it. I can take plenty more pics if needed or requested.
I feel like a good repair guy could repair the cue and possibly double his money back or even better yet, make a good deal of money if they have a linen press to swap or trade or even keep a nice Predator cue to shoot with for themselves.
If I am wrong, I apologize in advance for putting the cue for trade in this section but I figured it would be the best section since I am wanting to trade it for supplies. I will answer any and all quesion to the best of my ability.
