9ball World Championship, Doha, Qatar 2012

They should put better players and more exciting matches on the TV table...

Omar Shaheen is a big star in the Middle East. Both he and his opponent will certainly be commanding a massive viewing figure in China.

Sorry, but these things don't just exists for the American viewers.

So sit back and enjoy the match because they are both great players.

Im European and never heard both of them... they are all right. And their match started first so maybe it is just schedule reasons.

I'm impressed with this kid Matthew Edwards from NZ. He came out of nowhere to be a world class player. Also Bruno from Italy has really brought his game up a notch or two. I had a feeling Karl would beat Chao and I'm glad he did. I like Daz in his match with the Greek kid, who has also been very impressive. Finally someone from the Middle East who can really play. He's only 19 as well.

I like the online coverage, television quality and good camera work. But the commentators need to catch a breath once in a while. Especially the one guy who can't stop talking for a second.

Edwards was really impressive, great wins here. Wonder if he lives in NewZealand or plays in Europe regularly

And of course Daz is the favourite, I didn't mean otherwise

Souquet and Muratore have both been playing the Eurotours etc for ages (20+ years). I wonder what their h2h stats might look like

Really hate that it is so difficult/impossible to find information for such (or even more basic) things in pool

I think that you will find that the commentator is Khaled Al Mutari. He lost in the previous round to Omar. They were also teammates in last year's World Cup of Pool. They were unlucky to draw Efren and Busta in the first round.
Khaled is Omar's mentor so perhaps that is why he is getting so excited.

But the kid is a great player with a lot of heart and a swagger that picks him out from the crowd.

Don't really know...
From my limited info I would guess that
-Muratore was for several years, then Petroni for about a decade for sure, last 2-3 years seems Muratore again...

What a kick!
And a beautiful 6 as well. Go Al!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's now 10-7, Lee He Wen!
