Ive had these tips for years and have only used one. There was one missing when I got the box so there are 48 tips. These are 12mm tips and are Soft.

I dont know how old these tips are or what they might sell for? Any info would be appreciated and I am looking to sell them.

IMHO, it's gonna be a tough sell because:
(1) 12mm is too small for the average pool cue, so a snooker cue repair guy might want them,
(2) With all the laminated tips on the market, installation of solid tips are falling by the way-side,
(3) The longer you've had them, the more they're drying out and becoming unusable, and
(4) Triangle tips are only made in one hardness rating: 81 (hard). Are you sure they're Triangle tips? Are you sure they're soft?

You might get $5 or $10 for the whole box. Maybe. If you find the right guy. In the right mood.

Well I'm well aware of the small size and yes they are far softer than traingles you see today. I'm just putting it out there being I haven't seen a box like this and you don't see 12mm at all. The one tip I installed was on a snooker cue. I'd like to know when they were made etc etc ad nausium.

(1) Softer than today's Triangles? Hmm, they could be really old and dried out. Which unfortunately means worthless.

(2) Is the box other than the picture I attached? Cuz that's the only Triangle box I've ever seen in the past 25 years.

(3) You can buy a box of 11, 12, 13, or 14mm Triangles on many websites at this very moment, so the small size doesn't necessarily mean anything.

(4) On the bottom of my box of Triangle tips is a date which I assume is the manufacturing date. Maybe your box has the same. Then again, maybe not, depending on when they started printing the date on the bottom of the box. If no date, maybe there's a manufacturer's code that can be deciphered by someone at Tweeten?

(5) Finally, put all your tips in plastic ziploc baggies to keep them safe from changes in temperature and humidity. If you do business with Joe at Cue Components long enough, you'll have those baggies coming outta your ears! But at least you can put them to good use. (Thanks Joe, I love those baggies!)

To clarify I have to get some more sleep and remember to attach the pic!? I attached pics of the box and the tips, yes they are different from the green box everyone knows so well.

I do keep my tips in baggies and Joe and I have a good rapport. There isnt a date on the box or any markings to distinguish when they were made, ergo why I made this post.

But again I must remember to actually upload the pis lol. I need a vacation.

Wow, that IS an old box of Triangle tips! I can't quite tell from the 2nd pic, but it looks like the tips aren't pre-shaped. They're probably worth more in a billiards history way, than as usable pool cue tips.
