I recently pulled a couple of cue balls out of a drawer, one centennial, one aramith red dot and two aramith measle. All were quite yellowed from their original white
Any ideas out there for the cause and more importantly, the cure
Thanks
Joel
I had heard that sunlight would help so the balls in question have been languishing in Florida sunshine for the last few weeks with little change
Based on the comments about playing with them, I have put them in my Diamond ball polisher for about an hour and a half and they have lightened considerably and wouldn't be described as yellow if you saw them in play
I guess the discoloration is on the outermost layer of the phenolic and basically wears off
Thanks all
