Hi , I came upon 2 great cues for masse - 90cm long and very heavy ( i think around the 20oz ). one is 11mm tip and other is 13mm.
I need now a perfect tip. I tried using a tip made of hard rubber ( inside of tennis ball) with no avail. what do you suggest?

I have not tried this tip, but check it out, on e-bay there

is a tip made in -Austrailia-- I think, it is made of a rubber material and requires no chalking.

Take a look and see if it is something that might work for imparting spin for masse shots.

Good luck

Just my personal opinion... my masse' cue is short, heavy, large tip (13.5 or 14) that holds chalk well. I personally prefer a pre-pressed soft or med single layer tip. If you can't be bothered to chalk the tip before every shot then you may be in too big of a hurry. But again that is just my opinion.

More spin!

I've seen a tip in a catalog a few years ago (can't remember which...Prather?) that looks like a small rubber ball. I think it was a slip-on, but I'm not sure. I hear from an acquaintance it'll put on more crazy spin than anything else, and I believe it's used without chalk.
It might be what you need.
