Anyone ever buy any pool sullpies from aska on ebay?? was thinking about a new case. anyone have any experience with this sellers merchandise. prices seem good.

I bought a 2x4 Aska case for my son a few months ago. Seems good quality, nothing is ripping or tearing, material looks to be thick enough to last and straps are pretty solid.

The model I got was cheaper than what they have now 2x4 Billiard pool Cue Case Aska C24W Black, it was about $50 with shipping. Only had one pouch though.

I did the same for my little bro.

I bought 6 4x8 cases from them and have had no complaints from the people that bought them,I have been using mine over 1 year and it is still good.

I bought two 2x4 cases from them and a falcon cue from them.
it looks like they are auctioning off stuff at the moment to clear some inventory.
They are located in Canadia, so expect slightly longer shipping...

I've had a aska 2x4 for about 4 or five years now and never had any problems with it, I like it alot, I can put both the buts and shafts in either way, I think it a great value for the money.

Asks Pool Balls

Anyone ever tried there pool balls? If so how are they, and do they hold up?

Thanks in advance..

I purchased a jump cue made by Aska on Ebay. I didn't know it was an Aska, just thought it was a cheap generic jump cue. I only needed it for a weekend, so didn't want to drop $ for a better one until I decided which one to get.

Anyway, the cue was fine. Solid, made from maple and purlpleheart. The wood's visual craftsmanship was sub-par. At the butt-end the maple and purple were spliced together into a pattern. The edges of the maple in a few spots where it is joined to the purple had little bits of splintering; this was smoothed out and finished, but you can see where it happened in about 3 spots.

One of the sections of purpleheart had a 3-inch long groove in the wood. This was not smoothed out, just finished over, so you can see it and feel it.

Lastly the shaft was almost straight, just a tad out of true in the shaft. It was definitely acceptable and would not affect play. The seller didn't disclose it in the original listing, but was perfectly honest when I asked about it (before bidding).

None of the defects affected play, and the cue seemed to be solid and well constructed. I think this was a matter of "whaddaya expect for $30?"

Fair review. I would agree with everything above. You get value for what you pay for. Keep in mind you don't pay a lot.

They are also dealers for a number of cue manufactures and their prices are competitive.
