F/S/O/T **** GTF REPLICA 1x2 CASE ****

Thats a mark that GTF uses on the cases so you can determine which side is the 'seam' side when you are putting the lid on.
Of course, since this case has a latch the mark is useless, but many of the GTF cases are made without a latch and it can be hard to tell which way is which, hence the mark
Here we go my first complaint......... or NOT
Here is the PM I received upon the buyer receiving the GTF case I had advertised, not sure what to make of this. The case was for storage only and no bluing in fine condition, pictures show this.

I'M NOT GOING TO PUT CLEAN WHITE SHAFTS IN THOSE TUBES, THEY'LL COME OUT GREY.
I'VE NOTICED AT LEAST 3 HOT PIN TEST MARKS and ONE OF THEM SEEMS TO HAVE MELTED THE LEATHER, IF THAT'S WHAT IT IS.
I'M SURPRISED YOU'D SELL A CASE IN THIS CONDITION WITHOUT DISCLOSING THE MENTION I HAVE STATED.
I'M VERY SURPRISED TODD.
PLEASE CONTACT ME, I'M STILL AT WORK, I'LL BE FREE ABOUT 3am or 4am THIS MORNING
MY RESPONSE:
Send it back in same condition you received it and I will give a refund if that is what you wish. The case is mint, if you disagree send it back. Was the packaging damaged or dented in any way? If not, the case should be as I described. If you don't want it, send it back and I will give a refund minus shipping. I've never had one complaint about anything I ever sent, always praises. Anything I sent was always above and beyond the buyer's expectations, so this is a first!! I guarantee the condition of the case is NOT "POOR" if it is in the condition I sent it!!!! I still have pictures posted of the case on the "for sale" thread so please let me know where it might have been misrepresented.

I have posted this before any refunds or arguments are stated, because I can tell where this is going! I can't believe what some of today's AZ buyer's will go through!!!! Check out the for sale thread, the case was mint same as it was from the seller I received it from. I know this case was a mint storage case and will gladly take it back for the selling price "minus shipping". I just don't know what the buyer has done or is intending!!!
This case could almost pass as "NEW" definitely no bluing of any kind in the shaft holes!!
This is the same buyer that haggled with me on price and then notified me he could not pay agreed upon price, because of paypal fees. ( I said $180 shipped net to me) buyer came back and said he didn't have enough to cover fees which would be $5.31 more and he only had $1.00 more. I tried to be the nice guy and said give me $181 and I'll cover fees
This is what I get.
I know these matters should be handled in PM and private first and then brought to the boards, but I can see the direction this may go and only wish to nip it now!!
Especially when I know the mint condition the case was sent!
I wish for the response from the buyer "21whiskey" to dispute what I have said w/ visual proof.
Again, I hate this and never thought I would be here, but I guess it's my turn!!!!!!

This seems to be the pattern with some of the folks out there...especially the "newbies" on the forum nowadays. They dispense advice without any knowledge of what they are talking about and want to "arm wrangle" you over a few bucks to complete a deal.
If they don't have any history behind them or credible posts/threads...I stay away from them. Your pics show a pretty clean case so in less this case was trashed enroute to the buyer...he/she has issues.

Well, I hope there isn't those "pin size test burns" the buyer described on the case or there will be no refund, that's for certain! They weren't there when the case was shipped from me. AND the stated "bluing down in tubes". WHAT!!!!!!! You can see by the pics, there is not even any bluing at the top of case, let alone inside!!!!
Sounds like someone has buyer's remorse and is trying to get out of it any way possible!

If you ever do see something of his for sale, be sure to just wait. His prices seem to "magically" drop at least 30% from his original "great deal" prices.
