I just want to step forward and say that there is a lack of integrity in this thread. On Friday I pm'd the seller and stated I would take the butt, and asked for a paypal address so I could send payment. Saturday morning he replied that he only accepts money orders, and asked that it be sent priority. I received his reply after 4pm on Saturday, and the post office is already closed at this time. I didn't complain or argue, but instead said no problem, I'll send it out Monday. He replied that was fine, and asked that i send a tracking number as soon as it was sent. Today he sent another message repeating the price and asked to let him know the tracking number. I IMMEDIATELY replied that I am a bar manager, had just woken, and had a couple of things to do, but would send him the tracking today as soon as it was sent. Suddenly within 10 minutes he informed me that he decided he was going to trade it and "sorry for the trouble".
I have bought several cues here, and while by no means am I a cue collector, I own a fair amount. This is the FIRST time I have encountered any such thing. A deal was reached, and everything was on schedule. If I had failed to carry though with my end today (which he had already agreed was fine) and he decided tomorrow, I COMPLETELY understand.
As it stands, I must say that I am disappointed, not so much in not getting the cue, but by Chris' lack of integrity. I didn't try to haggle, I didn't ask for anything. When he made a request for MO, I was happy to comply. So, I'm just letting others know, that this gentleman's word is no good, and do not expect him to honor a deal. Good day to you all.
