8-ball, Do I rake the balls after the break if he has an open table?

If you raked the balls on me after the break, first I would think it a super dick move and secondly I would immediately think I was in your head which certainly would help me more.

I would never do it for a number of reasons.

Earl did it at hill/hill so he didn't really concede the rack as much as concede the match.

But how do you break the table wide open so often? Certainly in 8-ball, if the table is open you will run out. What is the secret?

It really shouldn't be difficult to understand that having a wide open table doesn't mean a player will get out every single time.

Sorry, I can't give you my secret.

In my experience, if the player has an open pocket for each ball, he is out 90% of the time or more. So how to beat you again?

Are you saying that your runout percentage with an open table is very low?

Not low, just not in the 90s as maybe some top players.

It doesn't matter though since my break is strong, and in this hypothetical game, that's the only thing that matters.

So you're saying there is still 10% chance of you visiting the table and winning?

0% chance of you visiting the table and winning if you concede every open table.

My math isn't great but a 10% chance of winning vs 0% is a no brainer.

You missed the "or more" part! You only read what you want. What else can we say about you?

And you failed to account for the benefit of not letting your opponent get in stroke, and for yourself, not having to sit in the electric chair for so long.

Again, why do you feel the need to treat people like this?
