I cleaned up the other piece of purple and took a pic.... Bit of bark in there, but not too bad.

I was just looking at a John Davis blank, ebony into ebony with natural/purple/natural veneers, a wrapless with your burl as the handle would be amazing and I would shoot with it all day long. :D

Anyone from Meridian....has got to be cool. Spitz does good work too....and I want to see pics of the purple box elder he is working with right now.

Knives are big down here too, If I come across anyone to send your way I will. I sent Jon a PM, been itching to get my first custom player built.
