cross side is making me cross eyed

i've watched a few DCC bank pool videos and the commentators keeping using the term cross side/corner when the CB doesn't cross the OB path to the pocket.
It's driving me nuts because many moons ago we never used that definition for a regular bank.

Have i led a sheltered life or what?

Where you from? The terminology if coming from Danny D or Cardone is right, so maybe someone has to give.

These terms in the link have been looked over pretty well and agreed upon by top bank players.

Thanks. I appreciate it. I try to be the everyday average decent player commentator, not the in depth professional ( since no matter how many Holiday Inn Express stays I have , it ain't helping my game),

And I didn't mean to come across as snarkie if it read that way. I did actually want to know if its a geographical thing as terminology often is.

BTW I've always called your bank scenario as a "cross over" but I don't see that term on the glossary list either.
