OB classic vs I-2

What's the better shaft feel,hit, ect ect thinking of trying out this new mcdermott too
 
I have both but with different tips. What new McDermott?

I bought both 8 months ago with the intention of keeping the one I liked the most & selling the other. I still have both. They both are great IMO.

Since I have a Kamui SS on the OB & Everest med. on the i2, I can't really give you a fair comparison. However I would say that the i2 feels a bit more like a regular maple. Maybe because it is a one piece with a carbon tube down the middle. As to squirt, I would say they are about even. To be honest, the i2 amazes me sometimes how very little it squirts even when hit hard.

One more thing, but keep in mind that I have been playing with regualr maple until 8 months ago. I think I play more subconsciously with the i2. The OB is obvious that it is an LD due to the laminants. The i2 looks normal & therefore does not remind me of delfection issues.

Is the i2 a low defliction shaft? And I was talking about the shaft
 
Anyone put one of these shafts on a low dollar cue like players or lucky? Or should I just spend the extra cash and get the hole cue! Reason being I could get cheap lucky put ob or i2 on it would it be same or should I get the btter cue what's the diff

I've hit both and I like the ob classic a lot more although I did not get to play as much with the i2 as the ob classic so i may be bias

I would buy an ob cue over a cheap mcdermott if that was one of your questions

Did the ob inprove ur game? I mean I know its not the cue its the player but did it help

I did not actually own either but the OB classic was nice in my opinion

I have always liked OB
 
Yeah i would describe it as a crisp hit compared to the OB-1 and OB-2 with the wood ferrules

If you go to OBcues website they describe the shaft 'feel/hit'
 
Prodigy, I thought you were going to buy an OB sneaky with a firm, crisp hit a week ago...
 
I bought an OB classic over the i2 primarily because I liked the feel.

The second reason was value. I bet there's more people looking for used OB shafts than i2 shafts. If I didn't like the OB, I could recover more of my cost when switching back to maple.

Well I could not make up my mind then I ordered my ob classic and ob sneaky monday then they called me yesterday saying the the shaft was on back order so I'm waiting for them too put money back in my account! That being said I've been looking at more cues and I was jw about this i2 is all! I think I'm still gonna go with the ob!
