CNC programming Needed

Any one have programs they can share K2CNC with Mach 3 and Bobcad 25.

Thanks

PM me.

You have all the tools in front of you. Bobcad is the first tool that you will need. This software will create the geometry that in turn will create the G code needed for Mach 3. Mach 3 will drive your K2CNC machine assuming that it is set up correctly. I am not try to be an ass here however you have what you mostly need. Thing to look for "A good post processor for Bobcad that will work with Mach 3". If your not familiar with what that is then see the next paragraph.

Did you get the training CDs with your Bobcad? If not, get them. I know that they are boring however most of the information on creating the geometry and 2 axes machining will help you.

Let me give you a huge piece of advice, if you want inlay programs from someone else, don't take the G-code. Get the Cad geometry. You will want to control feeds and speeds yourself.

P.S. Read the article on Precise Bits web site on zero glue line inlays.

Happy CNCing, JIm.

You can't borrow (or buy) creativity. Find a basic art or design program at your local community college and take it. Embrace the idea of NOT being like every other "cuemaker" on AZB.
