For Sale: 140 year old hard rock maple shafts

Mr. Steve Klapp has come across some of THE best shaft wood I have ever seen or shot with. He has 140 year old Hard Rock Maple that has been reclaimed from a few buildings. Each shaft is $175 plus s&h, and comes with a black collar, 1/4" APUS ferrule and Prather tip. These shafts are beasts. Matching a collar to a non-standard (silver ring or black) will be $25 extra, at Steve's discretion.

If you would like one, I will have a few at the expo, and have taken a few orders already. Take the opportunity to get one. Steve has his money into the shaft wood, and is requiring a 50% deposit, paid in full on completion which is currently a 10 day window. We will make the purchase work, and review my itrader or ask anyone i have done business with and they will guarantee I make good on my end of each and every deal.

Also, SNOWMON34 (Dale) has one and I am sure he can speak to their play.

Just purchased a cue w/ 2 shafts from Steve made
Entirely of this maple....cant wait to get it next week
...I will be writing a review on it and posting pics!!!!
 
Love old maple shafts. I assume I can get any joint set up I want? I'm not familiar with steve klapp.

yes you can. Steve has been around for a while, just had a bunch of stuff happen over the past year or two. He is getting back into the swing of things. Just email me at javarod@gmail.com for anything additional so this thread can stay within the forum rules.

Javier turned me onto these shafts, and I'm kind of partial to ugly, brown, dense, stiff shafts that play good..If your into that you'll love them, but if your preference is snowy white, clean, light weight shafts these aren't for you..Thanks for the shaft Javier!

Just one question. Why is the ferrule so short?
 
shaft weight

As questions have been raised, I will post that these shafts are finishing between 4.2 and 4.5oz.

I picked up my shaft at SBE. Had a chance to test it on Sat, then this morning.
Great shaft, really old, dark, heavy wood. If you are after old heavy hitting shaft - this is it. I am very happy. Will be ordering another one for sure.
