Question on sandpaper

I'm using Klingspor paper and am happy with all the grades except the 400 and 600. Those two clog up immediately and do not respond to any steps to clear them. The type I am using is PS14A and is a waterproof auto-paper, black in color..
I think I need another type and would like a suggestion.

All i use is klingspor. My 400 isn't wet/dry, but 600 and up is. The 400 blows clean with compressed air just fine, as does the other yellows. If I'm not using water, the finer grits clog but I just figure that's the nature of the beast. The wet dry isn't meant for unfinished wood and when I was at the body shop we NEVER used 600 or finer dry...

Yes, I think the wet / dry 400 is incorrect for dry sanding a cue. Will ask Klingspor.

Save your dime.
They need to remove the word 'DRY' from this paper.
It's meant to be used 'WET'. The water greatly retards the condition of clogging.
I'm sure that there are instances where this paper is appropriate when used dry,
but this ain't one of them.
