only Marco Fu remains, and he is likely to end his run in this round if Trump stays on the boil.

Trump came out of the gate slow but WOW once he go going Mr.Fu had no chance.

and sorry i will pay better attention from now on, :o

Poomjaeng promises return to Crucible

http://www.sportinglife.com/snooker/news/article/663/8673991/poomjaeng-promises-crucible-return

What they should've said in the after match interviews.

Stephen Maguire , " Och,I took wan look at the draw an I thought , who's Derchawant Poomjaeng anyways ? Och , that jist means ah dont neety pit in endless ours a practice . Great fun , loadsa time aff. Easy street but ah jist goat it wrang . Ah underestimated ma opponent , so fair play to the guy and when he gets knocked oot ah wull buy him a pint !"

Michael White , "Well,I seen that Stephen Maguire made the mistake of playing the opponent rather than play the balls and read the map so as Terry Griffiths said one time , I am in the next round you know !"

I don't know about you guys 'n' girls but that's what I picked up . Best of luck to Michael White and hope to see Derwachat Poomjaeng back on screen soon.Stephen Maguire has loads of time to reflect on where he went wrong .:D:thumbup:

Grasshopper say.....

Neil Robertson played so bad yesterday in the final session I could have beat him. I think he dumped it off, which makes no sense at all, but how in the world can someone who plays that good play that bad? I had a bad playing pool just before Christmas and couldnt make a ball, but still relatively speaking not as bad as Neil did. Something wasnt right about that whole session.

Robert Milkins hail biggest ever win

Neil Robertson turned up at the Crucible with the same bad attitude that Stephen Maguire had . They looked at the draw and thought they had an easy passage into the 2nd round so they took it too easy on the practice table and deservedly crashed out of the tournament. If you had to ask them in a week or two I think they wouls say this was the reason they got beat.

Judd Trump 6 V 2 Marco Fu

At 6-2 down, the match is far from over for Marco Fu....

C'MON MARCO..:thumbup2::thumbup2::thumbup2::thumbup2:

From what I seen of this match earlier I thought , hey , this is Judd Trump who is playing like 'Touche Turtle'. From 2 years ago .

The guy who was a blue ball away from beating John Higgins.

Well 2 years later , Judd Trump has added a saftey game to his play.

Some of the pots were out of this world in the last frame of the session and confirmation that Judd has the fizz back in the cue ball was confirmed in that final frame of the session.I mean , how on earth did the cue ball stay on the table when he potted that final black of the session ? Lol .

Answers on a postcard please etc . That was some shot !:thumbup:

Afternoon match odds

Mark Selby 1/6 V Barry Hawkins 4/1

Ronnie O'Sullivan 2/5 Ali Carter 2/1

Skybet odds :

http://www.skybet.com/snooker

I take it that Mark beats Barry and that Ronnie gets pushed close by Ali Carter and it shouldn't surprise anyone if Ali won.;)

Long walk home for Mark Selby

World NO.1 Mark Selby loses from 9-6 up . Who seen that one coming ?

Well played Barry Hawkins to win 7 out of the last 8 frames to win the match.

Out goes my selection Mark Selby . :(

Maybe he looked at the draw and thought he had an easy route to the final but he is out and it's back to the drawing board to make another selection.

Trump beats Fu 13-7.
Another dream all shot to hell...I had plans for that money.:sorry:

Well, now I'm cheering for Judd Trump......
......he needs a new pair of shoes.

Ding Junhui 2 V 6 Mark King

Some kind of jinx is at work on the bottom half of the draw but hopefully for Favourite backers Ding Junghui can turn this around as this is getting painful to watch.

Skybet odds are Evens Ding Junhui and Mark King 8/11

Esesna Rehabilition Alex

Here's a homemade movie of my reaction watching The World Snooker Number 1 somehow collapse and lose 7 out of the last 8 frames played :

Event Predictor

Whoever wins the Contest deserves a Medal so let's have a look :

930 enteries but the following picks are out :

Mark Selby..........226 selections
Neil Robertson......186
John Higgins ........32
Mark Allen............29
Stephen Maguire...21
Jack Lisowski........7
Mark Williams .......6
Matthew Stevens..6
Peter Ebdon ........3
Martin Gould.........2
Sam Baird............2
Alan McManus......1
Dechawat Poomjaeng...1
Greame Dott...............1

So let's add that up !

Unless my calculator is on the wonk that adds up to 523 out of 930 have just called it wrong , myself included . So less than half the field are left in with a chance of picking the winner before the Quarter Final line up is complete ! :(
