Hi,

I am new to the forum and was curious about the opinions everyone had on jump cues?

I am a Predator shooter and originally I was looking to try to pick up a used Predator Air Jump, but from reading what some people have said about them on here they do not seem to be a favorite. Which would explain why they were discontinued.

I used to have a tadpole but sold it a while back. Now I am in the market for another one, but not sure what to look for.

Seems like I remember someone one mentioning that the Jacoby Jump Cues were good, but I have never seen one in person to make an opinion.

What is everyone's thoughts?

Thanks!

Lucasi makes a good production cue. If you're looking to spend some money, then I'd suggest Steve Lomax. I've only tried it afew times and it is as everyone says it is, amazing.

Bungee

I have a bungee and it jumps very well. If you go to the pool hall most of the B to AA payers will have dedicated jump cues, ask them to try them until you find the one you like best.

I bought a s/h Lucasi L-2000JC jump cue for 40$ in good condition. Cueball jumps well and I'm happy with that cue. Usually in a 3 hours session, playing 9-ball, and 10-ball, I'm using jump cue for 5-7 times, not more.

I don't see the reason to pay more than 50$ for a jump cue you use 2-3 time per session.

For me the 2 best jump cues I have and glad I own are an Alex Brick and Joe Bouska both dymondwood jumpers along with their break jumps. Both jumpers are just effortless.

I ended up ordering a Lomax jump cue. I was lucky.. When I called him up he had one available, and I got it two days later. It is an awesome jump cue. I am glad I went with it.
