This (expensive) book has a list of players in the back, or so I remember hearing. Would anybody be willing to share that list? Thanks in advance.

After checking out this short thread, it looks like it would be a good book to have. Although, at $240, I'm not sure it warrants serious consideration at the moment.
 
My copy is in the living room, in a closed bookcase, with books piled in front of it:sorry: If you don't hear from anyone else in an hour or so, I'll try to get mine out and check.

He said it was who made what playing in the five major tournaments of the time (1967).

You be welcome, Banks. I was barbecuing, so I didn't have time earlier, but the five tournaments were:

The Stardust Open in Las Vegas; the World's Straight Pool Championship in NYC; the All-Around in Johnston City; the BCA National Championship; and the Long Beach Open.
