all this discussion of "this guy stole my idea on banking" or "that guy stole my aiming technique" brings me to question....who was first person to play pool?build a cue? make balls? make a table? Rack?chalk?.....my point is if someone makes something it will always be up for improvement. If I make a cue out of wood and put ivory points on it, am i stealing someones idea??? everything we use in pool was "stolen" from the first person to use/make it..

The first pool, if memory serves, was played on grass (hence the green colored cloth on today's tables) in the 17th century.
