I can not stress how good Rick's cues play. They are unbelievable players. I own a lot of custom cues and play with one of Rick's cues everyday.

Hey Nick,

If you have any pics could you send them or should I call him directly? I am in fort walton and was going to get another cue made but, might wait to see what Rick has before getting that other cue...

Rick does email.

I saw the Cues and said what's up with these. He said he was pretty sure someone wanted the 3 Wrapless Customs as a group but wasn't posative.
Contact Rick. He can do pictures. I don't know what is still there if anything. Word gets out Rick has finished Cues built and the locals get them. He never has Cues sitting around long. Orders being built yes. Finished unodered Cues to sell not that I rember. Not an everey day kind of happening..
Nick :)

I've got a cheap ole conversion by Rick (my taper job though) that plays as good as any Southwest out there. For flat face fans, and perhaps those that have yet to try such config, Ricks cues are the premier players cue, IMHO.

Nick I spoke with Rick about one of these cues and he claimed to know nothing about this post and told me a different price on the top cue. I told him he had the cue online for $975 and he claimed he didn't know anything about this post. You may want to check with him on this post.

I was with Rick the day I posted this thread.

I said the information would be posted. He added the wrapless Cues might be spoken for. I posted to call Rick. I am not suprised he forgot. He has been very buisy. If you were not happy with Rick's prices they are firm. If they are differant now it may be because he didn't rember our talk and may have forgotten to add for special wood or upgrade at the time.
As I said Rick's prices are firm and maybe he listened to me when I told him he wasn't charging enough.
We discussed all this at his shop.
I am probably seeing Rick on Monday and will ask what is up and as I posted if you want something new call him up.
Thank you,
Nick :)

I was not questioning if Rick's prices were firm, but simply wanting to point out to you that he is quoting a different "FIRM" price than listed on this thread. I understand his prices are "FIRM" but think that they definitely should be "CONSISTENT" being it is the same cue with 2 prices, wouldn't you have to agree? I also think he is charging enough maybe in excess of enough seeing they have been on here 1 month and none have sold.

Wow

Do tell. Sounds like you didn't buy a Cue. Also sounds like when you call again the price might be even higher.
Thank you,
Nick :)

Why in the world would you think i would be calling him back? I didn't buy a cue nor WILL I be buying a cue with him jacking the price up $100 more than what is in black and white here. That was a very big turnoff from his cues. Just trying to help you and him not make both of you look ridiculous for the next person that sees the prices here and calls him and he doesn't know what the heck they are talking about and quotes the firm price higher than Serduli marked the firm price for here. Or let him keep jacking it up They should really fly off the shelf then, lol.

Since this is not Rick's post and he is the cuemaker I feel he has the right to set the price. If $100 is keeping you from buying one of the best playing cues you can get your hands on without a 2 year wait then so be it. I saw a couple of South West on here for around $ 3000. Only problem there is I don't think they play as well. I am not tring to poke my nose in,but I will say don't miss one of these cues if you have the chance. Rick builds the best player for the money period! I have owned hundreds of cues and my main player has been a Howard for over 20 years.

Thanks for the post Scratch. I already own one of Ricks cues and they do play great. But yes this price increase definitely stopped me from pulling the trigger on this one. It's a shamed because he builds a great cue. I was just trying to help Nick make himself not look any more silly when Rick contradicts himself is all. He did edit the post and prices so he won't look that ridiculous now at least. He did take my advice. I am done with the thread thanks.

bring a member of many forums, I feel that this post should not even been posted, one for improper pricing an two not knowing if these cues were available..
