we throw 1st. we decided to start out with a 3. he faces a 3 and loses 12-8.

they throw out one of their 5's. they only had 2 , the rest were 3's and 4's. we counter with our 7. our 7 wins 17-3.

we throw out me, a 5. they counter with their last 5. I win 18-2. one of my better matches, I usually don't win like this.

so we are up 41-19. I am liking where we are at.

they throw a 4 and we counter with a 4. our 4 loses 16-4. I am a lil concerned but not too much because we are still up 47-33.

we only have 2 3's left and we throw one of them. they counter with a 3. our 3 lost 18-2.

damn what a bummer.:(
 
darn I am so bummed I cant add right.

1st match we lost 12-8

2nd match we won 17-3. we up 25-15

3rd match we win 18-2 . we up 43-17

4th match we lose 16-4 47-33

5th match we lose 18-2. we lose 51-49 . again , damn what a bummer.
 
we had 2 byes today. we do not play until 10 am sunday. I am taking my frustration out on painting the house today.:grin-square:

on a good note..My daughters 8-ball team made it threw to Nationals..
and my brothers team made it in 9-ball..the funny thing is..one of my
best freinds plays on both those teams..then a couple of my other friends
that come over an play on friday nites won the trip for scotch doubles..
I'm some what bumbed..come Aug..I"ll be with out friends to play with on
friday night..lol

I want to give a big thumbsup :thumbup: to my teammate , the Memphis bullfrog.

due to his outstanding shooting and excellent coaching we made it to the finals.

tomorrow night we face the same team we lost to in the 8 ball cities finals. I hope the outcome is different this time.

darn I wish I was more consistent so I could help my team out more.

I played a 5 fri night and won 18-2. today I lose to a girl who is a 3. I don't know the score and really did not want to find out.

I played another 5 and won 12-8. he made I think it was 4 fouls during our match and a couple of times I said bih , right ? he said no, no I did not foul. watcha gonna do ? I tried not to get frustrated knowing he got about 10 or 12 points during the match due to those fouls. we got to 37-37 and he wa on the 8. an easy straight in shot with the 8 about 6 inches from the corner pocket.

one of mt teammates said wait, we want someone to watch. well after the lo came to watch he jacks up and drills the 8 ball in the corner, the cue ball comes flying off the rail and goes straight in to the opposite side pocket. I thought wth he do that for ? well I got bih on the 9 and won the game.

then I thought ... karma *****, those fouls caught up with you.:grin-square:
 
I was supposed to be out of town overnite on a job. Talked my boss out of it so i could play tonite. He said ok.bein an old pool player himself he nderstood. Hope we do good

We faced the same team that we lost to in the finals of the 8 ball cities. My team was geared up this tme. Did not even complete 4 th match to reach 51 points
 
when we got to the finals the lo told us he was using a magic rack and doing all the racking. I thought it was the best way to insure every one got the same rack.

any of you guys have this happen in your area.

what are your thoughts on this ?
 
I had heard that Magic Racks were forbidden in the APA.
We tried to use one on a league night and were asked not to, so of course I fired off an email to the APA and was told it wasn't allowed. But that was several months ago, things may have changed since
