Videos.

Some have been but I wouldn't bet 500 against the 10 ball ghost. Would you?

Most have been 9 ball videos.

Let's meet in the middle. 10 ball break and you can take the three ball off of the table every time before the run, unless it is within a balls distance from another ball, then you take the five off.

I don't want you to accidentally move another ball.

The break is a huge difference - 9 ball I can make the 1 in the side and the wing ball on almost every break.

Tell you what - I have no idea how to stream so let's try to figure out something with video.

How about we both play 10 ball ghost - race to 11 and whoever can post the video with the largest margin of victory by a fixed time wins. Keep it friendly at 100.

Let me know.

Not a chance.

The whole point of this was to see you stream.

Why?

Do you think I modify my videos?

I know enough to know that there is a big difference between playing comfortably in your own home, knowing you can hit rewind or whatever if you screw up, rather than playing live in front of all azb posters and lurkers.

At first I just wanted to see if your system could hold up to the pressure but now that you have added a $500 bet, I am even more curious.

The system is fine - I just won 5K in our elite league using it.

I have never once hit rewind - now not all footage gets posted either but I never 'cheat'.

Do you play?

This is an hour of my life that I will never get back. Satori officially on ignore.

]Maybe one day I will but for now lets discuss your streaming.[/QUOTE]

You do bring up an interesting point,I think I hit the do over button about 647 times one nite.It just seem's like something bad happens when things start going good.:)

Anthony

Do over is a much better way to describe what I meant.

Thank you.

Satori,

It's really uncool of you to derail a thread meant to be a list of people's recorded videos.

That said you have said that Gerry has action and THEN made it ten ball when all Gerry has shown is videos of him playing the 9 ball ghost. You should be honorable and honor that you said BET and go ahead and bet the $500 against Gerry playing the 9 ball ghost.

Gerry,

Easiest way to stream is to get a webcam and a USB extension cord, try one that is normal and see if that works and if not then you need an active one that boosts the power of the transmission. Mount the webcam to your tripod with whatever you have, I use rubber bands. Go to Ustream and start an account and download their software to manage it.

I am 100% sure Satori won't bet against you with the 9 ball ghost since there are several videos out there of you beating it already and he knows you didn't stitch runs together and claim you beat the ghost. But in case he does do the right thing and honor the bet he made then I will be happy to hold the money for you.

It's not an open and shut case as he has posted videos of both 9 and 10. I am certainly willing to work something out though as I want to see him stream. Lets do something quick though. There is no need to drag this thing out.

I'll throw a $20 spot if I could see either Stan or Gerry (not sure if that is pronounced Gary or Jerry) stream themselves live playing the ghost in a race to 11.

I know I'm a skeptical guy by nature but I just can't help wonder how many times they hit rewind on the recorder. It would be worth it to me to pay and see some live cte from them at work.

I don't know why they would even bother to do it for you. If they do, you will just say that they aren't really using CTE anyways. They both have a good record playing. Plus, there are a number of other pros that use it too. Which you have seen streamed. So, just what are you trying to prove, other than another lame attempt to try and discredit CTE?

You constantly trying to discredit it, you must be some kind of authority on playing. Where are your videos of you playing? Or even your score on the BU exams? On what basis you you say it is all a scam, or won't hold up in the real world?

Good post, Neil!

Then bet the 9 ball ghost for $500. Easy for you since you just want to see someone play the ghost on a live stream.

Take Gerry's original terms and bet it.

I do have a question though? What do you think it will prove either way?

Shane Van Boening played Phil Burford on the live stream, 10ft 10 ball. Phil played rough as did Shane but both still ran out some great racks and came with great shots. Phil got 3rd, Shane got second to Karl Boyes. Shane and Phil both use aiming systems. Does getting 2cnd and 3rd mean those systems don't work? What about when they win? Does that mean they do work?

I don't understand the point you are trying to make here. If a system WORKS then it works all the time, like a computer or a car works all the time if they work. It's the operator who can dog it whether it's using any aiming method or driving a car or using a computer.

I think it's funny that all these years the naysayers have asked for proof and now they have got proof and I guess the last possible way to knock the system users is to insinuate that they are liars.

It's really frustrating that you go to these lengths.

The system users and teachers have proven they can flat out play. They have the highest scores in shot making contests, they have great high runs in straight pool, they have videos beating the ghost, making 40 balls without seeing the pocket - including TEN banks - they consistently finish high in tournaments - they report winning and advancing in their leagues -

And what do you put up in response? You're all liars is pretty much your platform now.

Do you put up videos showing off your skills? No.
Do you take the shotmaking tests? No.
Do you take the playing ability tests? No.

But yet you feel like it's ok to call people liars who do. And don't try to wiggle out of it because that's exactly what you are doing with this latest tactic. No need to try and characterize it otherwise. What you are saying is that Stan and Gerry are video editing experts rather than honest and good players who simply filmed themselves playing.

Furthermore it wouldn't even matter if they did stitch the racks together (they would have made this clear if they had). The point was and is to show clearing the table using CTE. If anyone has to play 100 racks to get ten clearances and then sift through them and edit those into a compilation then they are willing to do a lot more work than I am.

I see nothing wrong with that as long as it's made clear. Nor do I see anything wrong with shooting 30 racks and showing off the biggest package made in that 30.

These guys have done everything asked of them to prove CTE works and it's never enough. Now you want them to do it live when according to Pat Johnson watching a person play doesn't prove that CTE works. So I repeat the question, what exactly do you want to prove here?
