Thanks John - he won't be here much longer likely anyhow - done responding to negativity - people like this add no value to AZ which is why they don't last long. I think he just returned from a timeout because of his posting in another Pro One thread where he talked nonsense as well.

I did want to add though that I have no trouble playing outside my basement. In addition to the league win and 5K this year with Pro One I have had the following successes.

  • Ontario Provincial 8 Ball Champion
  • Quebec Invitational 8 Ball Champions
  • 401 8 Ball Champion
  • 4th - Masters 8 Ball (Vegas)
  • 3rd - Masters 8 Ball (Vegas)
  • 3rd - Masters 8 Ball (Vegas)
  • 2nd Masters 8 ball (Vegas)
    4th - Ontario/Quebec 9 ball challenge
    3/4 - Ottawa 9 ball event (Jason Klatt was 2nd)
    2 time Ottawa Barbox 8 ball Champion
    1st - local 9 ball event with Pro One this winter - beat a Pro in the final

I might add the finals in Vegas the year we finished 2nd were streamed ironically enough.

So I have no issue stepping out of my basement.

Shane Van Boening played Phil Burford on the live stream, 10ft 10 ball. Phil played rough as did Shane but both still ran out some great racks and came with great shots. Phil got 3rd, Shane got second to Karl Boyes. Shane and Phil both use aiming systems. Does getting 2cnd and 3rd mean those systems don't work? What about when they win? Does that mean they do work?

I don't understand the point you are trying to make here. If a system WORKS then it works all the time, like a computer or a car works all the time if they work. It's the operator who can dog it whether it's using any aiming method or driving a car or using a computer.

I think it's funny that all these years the naysayers have asked for proof and now they have got proof and I guess the last possible way to knock the system users is to insinuate that they are liars.

It's really frustrating that you go to these lengths.

The system users and teachers have proven they can flat out play. They have the highest scores in shot making contests, they have great high runs in straight pool, they have videos beating the ghost, making 40 balls without seeing the pocket - including TEN banks - they consistently finish high in tournaments - they report winning and advancing in their leagues -

And what do you put up in response? You're all liars is pretty much your platform now.

Do you put up videos showing off your skills? No.
Do you take the shotmaking tests? No.
Do you take the playing ability tests? No.

But yet you feel like it's ok to call people liars who do. And don't try to wiggle out of it because that's exactly what you are doing with this latest tactic. No need to try and characterize it otherwise. What you are saying is that Stan and Gerry are video editing experts rather than honest and good players who simply filmed themselves playing.

Furthermore it wouldn't even matter if they did stitch the racks together (they would have made this clear if they had). The point was and is to show clearing the table using CTE. If anyone has to play 100 racks to get ten clearances and then sift through them and edit those into a compilation then they are willing to do a lot more work than I am.

I see nothing wrong with that as long as it's made clear. Nor do I see anything wrong with shooting 30 racks and showing off the biggest package made in that 30.

These guys have done everything asked of them to prove CTE works and it's never enough. Now you want them to do it live when according to Pat Johnson watching a person play doesn't prove that CTE works. So I repeat the question, what exactly do you want to prove here?

I think Gerry might beat the 10 ball ghost though. Now he is motivated to try and I wouldn't be surprised to see another video soon of him doing it.

I know I get motivated to play when I watch his videos.

9 ball ghost, race to 11 streamed live for $500. On your table even with your brand new cloth and bucket pockets.

I noticed Gerry was on here all day Saturday so lets make this happen either next Saturday or the following at 12:00 p.m. Eastern time. Gerry can varify the exact date and time so that everyone can see it and if he does not show it is a forfeit. I don't want any excuses for not being in stroke on demand. I will post and he must too.

I don't think mr Wilson will have a problem with this post because I have seen worse by John and others. At least I hope not. Lets just make this happen.

It doesn't really matter 9-ball vs 10-ball, that was your escape route when you got called on your bet. You came out with a $20 proposal to see them play live streaming, only because you think it might be possible they are cheating. That in itself is quite a load of disrespect. Even if someone wanted to cheat, do you know how difficult it would be to reset balls in a video without anyone noticing? And splice audio perfectly? Virtually impossible. And the effort vs the inevitable getting caught would just not be worth it anyways. Now you are trying to turn the screws and say the other guys are changing their story. You sir, gain yourself a lot of DIS-respect when you pull stunts like this.

This has been a misinterpretation due to faulty wording on my part. I never believed they cheated or reset balls. I just believe that the selected videos show Gerry at his highest speed and reality might be that there are 100 videos for every one that show his skill in a not so favorable light. He believes different and he wanted me to bet 500 in order for him to prove it. I said ok, so lets prove it.
 
John - I am not wasting any time with this guy.

Satori - let's see you highest gear - or do you prefer to hide.

I won't invest 2 minutes in setting up a stream and believe me when I say it is an easy 500 for me.

So you are basically saying he may not be able to make the same performance under pressure. That would be better than "wondering how many times they hit rewind."

Exactly.

Rewind meant start over and erase or rewind the camera and do it again.
 
If you look at the 14.1 standings, Stan posted a 105 ball run, and I see Gerry posted a 57. I know Gerry is not a seasoned straight pool player and still achieved a 57. I don't care how many times you hit rewind, runs like these are virtually impossible to achieve unless you have some real playing ability to back it up. I'd like to see Satori post a 30 ball run.

That's just it. I don't believe you.

2 minutes for $500 don't sound that bad to me.

I won't press the issue though in fact I'll drop the issue unless you want to bring it back up again and we can get back to the videos like you suggest. Or perhaps one day you will change your mind and give us a stream, that would be nice.
