Skinny Bob's 1st annual 14.1 tournament will take place on October 12th. See details below.

I am not at all involved with this tournament, but I wanted to post the info in case any of you would like to play.

Good luck!

Note:
I don't participate much in the 14.1 forums, and this is a straight-up cross post, but I'm just trying to be helpful. Hopefully you'll forgive me.

"5 Minutes Bathroom Break per Rack"

LOL.... I read that & laughed. That has to be a mistake. They most likely meant per game.

PS: Don't make fun of this..... I called yesterday and was told that this tournament was in honor of a player who had passed away. They have put on this tour. once a year for the past two years. It has gone over so well & players are asking for more 14.1, that they are having it twice a year starting this Oct. This is the first 14.1 tournaments down this way in over 20 years. Maybe, people are starting to wise up.....

The tournament is in honor of Sam Jones. He was a strong 14-1 player who loved the game and was always willing and happy to help anyone get better. He was a fixture at Skinny Bob's before he passed away. He will always be missed by everyone who knew him.

Thumbs Up

Hat's Off to Skinny Bob's for doing such a nice thing to honor Mr. Jones. He sounds like the kind of people I like to be around. Thanks for posting.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the tournament last saturday. Congrats to 14-1 StraightMan for winning this event and David Escobedo for finishing runner up! I feel a bit better since the guys who beat me finished first and second.

Thank you Paul for posting these results. It was a pleasure meeting you & John Jr. It was also an honor to play in a tournament that was started for your friend Sam & John's Dad. Skinny Bob's is a true pool room. The tables were wonderful to play on. I wish that the Dallas-Ft. Worth area had a place like that. Anyways, Thanks again.
