Irish linen Rap

Would adding a Irish Linen rap to a all wood 2 piece custom cue affect the integrity of the wood and or alter the playability of the cue. Guess what I am trying to say is this a good idea? Thanks

No, it won't affect either the integrity nor the playability of the cue. If you like the feel of Irish linen then yes, it would be a good idea imo.
