WTB: Looking for decent "extra" carry cue

I have two nice cues i carry with me right now, and most the time i play with a friend they use one of mine, because they think its unfair to be stuck with a house cue...which has led to my one of a kind handmade thompson cue getting several dings on the shaft and body by those who don't appreciate things that aren't theirs:angry:. No more! looking for something like and older meucci, mcdermott, predator, or similar as a spare for friends to use, around 150 range, with preferably 11-12mm shaft because im sure i will use it occasionally when traveling and want to leave my good cues safe at home, let me know what you have thanks!

You are way too nice. Let them buy their own or play off the rack.
 
Nothing is wrong with getting a spare bag for yourself... but tell your friends tough. Either buy their own or play with house cues.

Contact user "Rain-Man" he has done right by many of us and has a nice assortment of stuff for sale.

I just took advantage of a deal he had for a Valhalla break cue for $55 shipped for a buddy of mine, who needed a break cue.

Good luck; in college I had a professor that would tell us "you never lend anyone your wife, car or tools...because you will never get either back in the same condition you lent it".

Thanks i'll give rainmain a PM. I dont know about you all, but i've needed to borrow things many a time in my life, and if everyone I knew used that attitude i would be somewhere else right now and have sour relationships, friendships at some point need give and take. Now i am drawing the line on luxury items, but a spare decent cue im not worried about getting dinged so that a buddy can think he has a chance (yeah right), is no skin off my back. In fact, every occasion they need to use it i'll charge them a drink, just to get my moneys worth :)

I have an old Adam Carlton fullsplice I'd take $100 shipped for it.
 
I have a McDermott g214c 19oz. The shaft is a G-Core 12.5mm.

Like new, maybe played for 2 hrs. Asking $200, make an offer.
