my home table probably gets 5-10 hours of play a week.....:o
ive had for 2 maybe 3 years
the cloth has a few marks on it and a few areas where the cloth is sort of frayed by that i mean if you looked at a wool sweater there would be a little ball of woll stickinh out
im not sure if this is from me using a yellow shop vac and maybe rubbing the surface with the plastic attachment too had
for the most part these "nubbins" dont interfere
with the roll of the cue ball
the cue ball will some times when rolling VERY SLOWLY
to a stop "wobble" alittle before stopping
all in all though the table plays fine except alittle slow some people have commented on who come to the house and play on it for the first time
what is your recommendation on when its time to replace simonis 869

Not sure about when to replace, but I recommend getting a horse hair attachment if you are going to continue to vacuum the cloth. Most definitely get one before you vacuum new cloth.

If it plays good I suppose its mostly up to you when to replace it, it really does not sound like there is anything wrong with it. I just put 860 on mine last February, my table gets probably 10-15 hours of play per week and the cloth looks pretty beat up already, or worse than I would have expected at this age, with burn marks and lines along the rails. I frequently vacuum and wipe down the cloth very carefully. Next time I will try the 860HR, its supposed to be a little tougher and I heard slightly faster.
