Hi guys.
This cue is owned by a close friend of my father. The guy is old and can not play pool anymore.
So, he asked me to sell it. I have no idea what this might be worth. here is why.
Design is unusual but, nice imo. Points are pantographed, really nice touch with mother of pearls. Not sure about butt cap - perhaps it is not original. But not sure. Ivory sleeved joint. White points could be ivory but, I will need to have a closer look to confirm. Comes with 2 shafts. One shaft has a noticeable roll. The other one has a tiny tiny roll, you have to look really hard to see it. Both have ivory ferrules.
Overall cue is in great shape considering it's age. There is some small wear of the finish right at the stick of linen and handle at both ends. Other than that cue is perfect.
I'd greatly appreciate help on value.
I am just trying to help my father's close friend.
Thanks.

Cue looks all original to me. Value is going to depend highly on whether or not all the white is ivory. You may want to call Dave and speak to him about the cue. He has a great memory of the cues he has built.

That reminds me so much of a Kikel I saw from John Wright many many years ago. Kot, When you arrive at a price range, let me know I may be interested in it. I dont think it is the same exact cue I saw but similar and I regret not buying that one still to this day.

Yes, cue is beautiful. A true master piece by Dave.
I just spoke to Dave. Will be sending him pictures vie USPS today. The man does not own computer or any other communication device except a land line phone. Oh well.....
Anyway, he insists that if joint is ivory, then everything else white is ivory as well. But to confirm that, I will send him pictures of the cue.
And yes, I will send you PM once i find out price range. basically it will depend on what material is used for white points.

I spoke to Dave Kikel last night and after receiving pictures of the cue he confirmed that all white is ivory.
Cue is 18 years old, has one owner.
Dave mentioned that cue is worth $300-3200.

I was gonna say north of 2.5k, stunning cue- so much work in it!

Well, in current condition cue is worth about that. I'd say about $2200-2400.
If no interest expressed, I will send this cue to Dave for refinish and a new shaft.

I am all seton price now. $2200 shipped, insured.
If someone is interested, let me know before it gets to "For Sale" section over the weekend.
I inspected cue again and I can say that it is in great shape.
