I broke my breaker!?!?!?

I bought a Schmelke Break cue, cocobolo full splice/purple heart shaft. It has Schmelke quick release joint. I just got it in today, broke about 30 racks and this happened.

I wasn't breaking hard or bending the shaft. I heard a weird noise and looked down to see this! It's supposed to be flat faced. It doesn't wiggle or turn, but it's sticking out about 3/32".

Definitely! Dave is a great guy! I've had a few Schmelke's already and Dave was on point everytime. I was posting more so to see if any has had this happen with any cue before.

I have a guy with a lucasi that keeps turning the uniloc insert out of the shaft. I've plugged and fixed it once and getting ready to do it again.
