Multi table arena Snooker tournament events question

I've watched as many matches as possible at the UK Snooker Championships & too many times when a player missed & the camera panned into them as they sat back in their chair after missing looking for a reaction , the player was looking @ another table to see what was happening & losing focus on their own match.

Just like you do down at your local snooker hall when you miss & you look around at the other tables & players & the next thing it's your shot but you've lost concentration etc .

Ronnie was on another planet at the Champion of Champions tournament but he was doing it himself , missing , sitting in his seat & looking around at other tables .

What do you think of these kind of tournaments as I declare them a Lottery & a punters nightmare . What do you think ?

So now that I've declared these events as a Lottery can anybody direct me to any website that keeps stats on Multi table arena Snooker events.

Who is the top player @ these event ? In fact who are the top , say 5 players @ these events ?

I'm starting to think these kind of tournaments are like Chess tournaments with loads of competitors sitting in the 1 hall @ the same time & the 1 who can hold his concentration the best is the winner.

No coincidence that Da Bookie's sponsor most things nowadays !

I could see concentrating on your own table if you are playing with a shot clock.

But in regular tournament play, you only need to pay attention to the table when your opponent is shooting (just to see the path the balls are taking) or when you are at the table.

Concentrating without a break over a long match is impossible. IMHO

Sometimes you should just sit back and gloat at the predicament you have created for your opponent, look around to acknowledge the admiration of the assembled throng, and watch the sob sweat.

Too many players complaining about tables , conditions etc @ the venue made me think that some players will handle these conditions better than others so if there is a Stat on this info it is more than welcome to punters who like a bet on the Snooker.

Fouldsie , he would know but I've been avoiding Ladbrokes Bookies like the plague for a few years as his tips are horredous at times but if anybody knows a website that is good to follow let's here your replys !

They kept singling out Mark Allen for doing it but I saw them all do it. I don't see a problem with it, but I dislike the format. Two tables are fine, but 4 is ridiculous IMO. I think this will be ditched next year as the top players were clearly unhappy with it.
