Thomas Wayne Cue

Here is a Thomas Wayne box cue. The ivory boxes are outlined with silver, which was rare for the age of the cue. Thomas is best known for his inlays weaving around the cue designs, but he has always been top notch on other styles of work also.

What year was this cue made? Was this one of his first?

At a glance, based on certain characteristics such a point length and ring configuration, I would put that cue somewhere around 1987-88.

"Officially" (as in selling cues I made)? 1982. Unofficially, 1979. Still have my first 4-point that used a a blank I made in the very early 80's.
