What's your solution?

This shot is quite a pickle.

The yellow is in the way of trying to hit the red. You might be able to hit rail-first before the red, but just barely. A normal bank shot will likely strike the yellow and miss the red. Doubling the rail in the bottom corner is just slightly out of range.

Here is one solution. Can you think of another?

shot

Draw off left side of yellow 7o'clock English or 4 o'clock English off same side of yellow. first shot short, long, short, long , second shot short, long, short, long. first shot for me is easier to shoot.

Gonzy11: As I explained, the yellow would be in the way to play your shot. You might be able to play it rail first, but it would be a very thin rail first hit.

Eddie, I don't think your first solution is even possible. Try it and let me know. The second shot has a kiss right away with the yellow coming off its first cushion, I believe. But it might be possible.

shot

Jim, I shot it both ways and made it both ways. the draw shot is easier cutting yellow ball thin, it took me 6 tries the second shot and 3 tries the draw shot.I played double the rail bank long, short, long 2 o'clock English much easier.

A "time shot" looks like a decent shot, go off the yellow cutting it into the red ball to send it toward the corner. The CB goes 3 ,4 cushions, long, short, long toward the corner to score.

I think I actually tried that shot. If I remember, you need to hit too much of the yellow ball and it caused the red to come back too far away from the score. Let me know if it works.

cueball right english( a lot).:
aimpiont on objectball is a very slight kiss on righthand side.
objectball will direct the 3rd ball in the corner area where the cueball will end:thumbup:

I agree with the time-shot. Looks to be sitting perfect for a thin hit with low right.

Here's a couple that I like:

Oooh. I like it.

I like the 2nd one better because with the first shot you could possibly miss the red off the yellow. I guess it depends exactly how it's sitting.

I wouldn't be hitting the 'double the rail' too hard so there would be no (or very little) spin left on the cueball if it where to hit the red 1st, I think it would score and gives a couple chances to score.

I said I played the long double the rail and it was much easier
