I know I posted in this thread forever ago, but heres my new house and game room. I am in the market for a new light as before I had a shop light and want something a lot more classy. Working on building a bar on the far side of the room (where the pic was taken from) its still only an irving kaye 6ft but I love it. (I have enough room so shoot a full stick 360* around table, pic makes room look small*

Nice! Ideally IF I am ever able to afford a new house in the basement I want 2 diamond tables (1 7' and 1 9') to cover all games i would play. They are definitely my favorite tables I have played on.
 
New Room

Lots of nice rooms and some good inspiration, I've been working towards finishing my basement pool room. I have a question, have any of you used "sound proof" insulation in your ceiling to try and eliminate the sound of balls crackling into ground floor of the house. I'm also wondering how much the sound travels and do some of you wish you had used the sound proofing.

I have insulation in the ceiling. My fiancé still says it's loud up there but I'm not sure if it's the balls or me and my drinking friends making the noise. :thumbup:
 
My man cave. Brunswick 9 footer "Ventura" model, copied after the 1925 Championship model. It plays similar to a GC, but pockets are a little tighter. Painted the ceiling to make it look more like a pool room, and yeah, the pay phone does work. Plus some photos on the walls. One is of me, but I won't say which one :)

I like the two tone paint on the unfinished portion not your ceiling. Creative. Great job all 'round...looks like a fun space!

Thanks. It's the only portion of the 2000 SF basebment that does NOT have a ceiling. You can begin to see the wood ceiling that is installed next to the pool room. I figured if I didn't like the "unfinished" painted look, I'd just go buy some more pine lumber and finish it... but everyone liked that look that has visited :)
 
Here is a look at how the ceiling looks else where. This is my Cal Ripken Museum. The room is about 10x12 and is all Ripken collected memorabilia in the room.
