Difference between umbrella and tikki

sorry for such a basic question
my understanding is a tikki is rail ball rail
umbrella is also rail ball rail (but more than one rail before getting to object ball)
so is a tikki a one rail hit ball back to rail shot and an umbrella is a multi rail hit ball back to rail shot??
in both situations the object ball is close to the rail
is that correct??
im a newbie sorry for such a basic question

The umbrella shot is two cushions first, ball, a different third cushion, ball.
 
Sorry I can't make a diagram, but in the one above (which is not an umbrella), move the yellow along the last line so it's half a diamond from the top long cushion. Shoot the white to the lower left corner so it hits about half the red on the left side. The white then goes almost perpendicular into the top long cushion and then to the yellow.

but is this the shot you are trying to describe??
also why is the above shot not an umbrella shot??

Yes, that is the shot I was describing.

Traditionally, the umbrella is two cushions first. The name comes from the shape of the cueball path: the first two lines represent the top of an umbrella and the last two are the handle.

Edit: If you move both object balls half a diamond to the left, and redraw the first two lines to compensate, the umbrella's top will be more apparent.

I'm confused now. CB is Yellow which goes 2 rail then red then rail and score. I'll admit my umbrella looks like it just came out of a wind storm but its still holding together isn't it?
 
3kushn, yes your shot is an umbrella. I was looking at the cue ball as being the white, so it looked like a one-rail first crazy shot.
