earl and efren thursday score updates?

Efren did play well, but he had more than 3 misses. A few of the easy ones to identify were the 6-ball in Game 4, the 1-ball bank in Game 13, the 2-ball in Game 25, the 5-ball in Game 28, the 7-ball in Game 29, and the 5-ball in Game 31.
But, with the call-shot/call-safe rules, a player has to decide on kick shots whether to call a shot or a safe. I believe there were a few kicks (maybe 3 or 4) where Efren made a good hit on the object ball and got a rail, but he had called a pocket rather than a safe. So I guess those could be called misses as well.
I see that the .878 you quoted was the Pool-Trax "Performance Rating." That is different from an Accu-Stats TPA, and I have not been able to learn exactly how Pool-Trax calculates theirs. The Accu-Stats TPA is balls pocketed divided by the sum of balls pocketed and errors. By my notes, Efren pocketed 208 balls (I could be off by a couple). If the TPA were .878, that would imply 29 errors of one type or another. But, as noted, the .878 is not the TPA.
Anyway, I agree -- Efren played a terrific match.
Thanks for the clarification. Maybe Pool-Trax should give us a refresher course.

Efren did have a couple of break errors and a few safety and position errors in addition to the miss errors (and some of the misses, being easier than a spot shot, would count as 2 errors in calculating the TPA). But I can't identify as many as 29 errors in total, so I'd guess his TPA would have been a bit higher than .878, but I don't really know.
Yes he will be. Geoff Conway remarked during the commentary that Efren actually came over to play at DCC and he (Geoff) organized the Strickland/Reyes challenge matches because Efren just happened to be coming here.
