I have 2 instroke cases full of cues that sit idle, in storage, is it better to store the cases laying flat or standing up and does it matter if shafts are tip up or down? thanks for feedback Sam.

I'd like to hear some replies to this question also. I store mine in cue cases standing up in a walk in closet.......

Ernie Gutierrez suggest keeping them screwed together, upright, and near an interior wall where there is less moisture.

I keep my cues standing upright, disassembled, in my JB Rugged in the middle of the house. So far, no warping.

In a case, standing upright, along an inside wall like in a closet....not against an exterior wall or in a basement where there is a high degree of humidity/temp variance.

Keeping or storing the cues at high temperature can damage them. A wooden cue might wrap at extreme temperature. An important cue caring tip is to store it at right temperature.
