It'll be interesting to see how the Calcutta plays out.

Post the finish and payouts after if you don't mind.
 
I talked to the tournament director today and it sounds like it is filling quick at about 40 players now. Anyone who wants in should call and register soon.
 
I'll be there Thursday to Sunday. Just show up whenever if you wanna play. New venue this year. 4 points Sheraton 401 at Wellington.

I won't drive there without a game set up. Done that too many times.

I heard a rumour that all mini tournies will be played a few doors down on Dearness at Hustler billiards. This was decided to close the pool area at 12:30A.M. Hope this helps for timing?
 
I also heard that they will be charging table time at the venue for any extra play. I havent heard that about hustlers but did hear that the tables will not be open for extra play for free anyways.
 
I hope that neither of these rumors are true. If we have to pay for table time during extra play why are there green fees added to the entries. Also I can't see Hustler's staying open all night which means there will be a lot less time to play extra matches.

I guess we can expect an even lower turnout next year. This tournament will be going the way of the old Sarnia tournament pretty soon.
 
You could very well be right. It's a shame how screwed up things have gotten with the TRS bullshit every year. Its no wonder it's going downhill. I understand we'll have SILVER Champions playing together in BRONZE this year somehow because they wanted their TRS changed so they can compete? Can't imagine continuing donating money for any scammers too much longer.

I was wondering myself how the runner up of silver last year is playing bronze this year ??? :confused:

Sorry Guys it's been very busy but here is the winners list and payout. We had 32 players and it was a great tournament. The new calcutta format was very well recieved by the players and the bidders.
$790 was added to the tournament by Brews & Cues, Town & Country Amusements and the calcutta.
